FAQs
General Questions
You can book your free trial lesson by clicking here or you can call us on 01753394123 to discuss your requirements further.
Each lesson is 2 hours per subject.
If you are interested in one-to-one sessions, those are 1 hour sessions per subjects (online only)
We follow a teach first approach. The first 20 mins of the lesson is spent going through the homework.
Our tutors then teach the topic from first principles.
The students then go on a short break and after the break the students attempt exercise questions during the lesson and our tutors observe each student and answer any questions.
Our face-to face lessons are all held in Langley Grammar School, Slough.
We also offer online tuition.
Tuition lessons will take place on a weekly basis at the same time, with the same tutor and with the same group of students (group only).
We offer English, Mathematics and Science for KS3, GCSE and A-levels. Please get in touch with us for the availability of each.
Please note that we do not cover 11+, KS1, KS2 etc.
There will be a maximum of 5 students in each class, all of the same key stage level/year group.
Homework is set on a weekly basis and the tutors provide feedback on the homework when marked. We also have mock exams that run throughout the year to test the student on what has been covered.
We issue weekly student reporting which outlines your child’s progress. This report outlines what has been covered in the lesson and also provides action points where the student should focus on.
All of our tutors are either graduates in their respective fields (Undergraduate/Graduates/Masters/PhD). The team of tutors we work with come from a variety of backgrounds, including former and current teachers, professionals from a wide variety of disciplines, and others who may have specific expertise in the subject area.
The two things they all have in common are that they are experts in their respective academic subjects and they are passionate about helping students succeed.
We aim to cover a broad spectrum of the national curriculum, touching upon all the major exam boards. We tailor our exam revision period to cater specifically to each student’s exam board with exam board specific past papers and practice questions.

There are no contracts and no hidden fees. You can choose to leave at the end of any month.
We accept cash, card and direct debit payments.
We charge on a monthly basis on the first week of the month.
Unfortunately we do not accept child care vouchers or discounts.
We do not offer bulk booking discounts. Our discounts are based on the number of subjects you enrol for.
You can add subjects at any time. To remove subjects you can do so at the end of any month.
If you miss a lesson we charge 50% of the lesson fee. This does not apply during the summer holidays (July – August).
Students can watch the catch up videos on the learning hub and have access to the classwork / homework.
